Dows Market on Main, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and property owners shall not be held responsible for any injury, accident, illness, loss, theft, or damage to persons or personal property that may occur before, during, or after the event.

Guests are encouraged to remain aware of their surroundings and to exercise reasonable care while attending the market. This includes navigating uneven surfaces, weather conditions, tents, cords, food service areas, and crowded spaces.

This event may be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes.

Vendor Participation & Liability Policy

By participating in Dows Market on Main, vendors acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Assumption of Risk

Vendors participate in the market at their own risk. Dows Market on Main, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and property owners are not responsible for any injury, accident, illness, theft, loss, or damage to persons, products, displays, equipment, or personal property occurring before, during, or after the event.

Indemnification

Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dows Market on Main, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and property owners from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to the vendor’s participation in the market.

Insurance

Vendors are encouraged to carry their own liability insurance. Dows Market on Main does not provide insurance coverage for vendors or their property.

Booth Responsibility

Vendors are responsible for ensuring that their booth setup is safe, secure, and compliant with local regulations. This includes properly securing tents, tables, displays, cords, and merchandise to prevent hazards.

Loss, Theft, or Damage

Dows Market on Main is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Vendors are responsible for safeguarding their own merchandise and belongings at all times.

Weather & Event Changes

The market is a rain-or-shine event unless otherwise stated. The organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond their control. In such cases, vendor fees may be handled at the discretion of the organizers.

Compliance

Vendors are responsible for obtaining any required permits, licenses, or tax documentation and for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

Agreement

By submitting a vendor application and/or participating in Dows Market on Main, vendors confirm that they have read, understand, and agree to these terms and conditions.
