Payment Tips for Market on Main Shoppers
One of the best parts of shopping at Market on Main is the variety... not just in vendors and products, but also in how you can pay!
All of our vendors are all small businesses, and each one operates a little differently. Some are equipped to take credit or debit cards, others accept digital payments like Venmo or PayPal, and a few are cash-only. To make the most of your shopping experience, it’s a good idea to come prepared with a couple of payment options.
If you plan to bring cash (which is always a safe bet!), be prepared with smaller sized bills. Many items will fall in the under $25 range (stickers, baked goods, small gifts). Paying with $1s, $5s, and $10s just fits those price points better. Small businesses are often running lean operations. Being prepared with smaller denominations shows support and makes their day run smoother. There is an ATM available right here in Dows at United Bank and Trust Company. Their ATM is accessible 24 hours a day, making it convenient if you need to make a quick stop before or during the market. It's located a block away from the Market at 101 Ellsworth St.
Please note: there is a small $2.50 fee for those who are not customers of the bank. This is currently the only ATM available in town, so we recommend planning ahead just in case.
No matter how you choose to pay, we’re excited to have you join us for a day of shopping, community, and supporting local makers.
While you are browsing and shopping, keep in mind that you are supporting local families with hand crafted products rather than mass produced items. Each vendor is grateful for your support, and is excited to see you at their booth. Please practice patience, especially during busy times throughout the day. We wish for everyone to have a fantastic experience, and when we all work together, great things happen!
