Rosehill Farms

Behind every good recipe is a story, and for Rosehill Farms, that story begins with family and a whole lot of homemade goodness!

Kelly and Dana have been married for 31 years and are proud parents of four children and one very loved dog, Cocoa. Their oldest son, Colten, now lives in New Jersey, while Zach and Taylor call Clarion home. Their youngest daughter, Lydia, is still at home and is currently a junior in high school.

They own and operate Rosehill Farms out of their home in Clarion, IA since 2022. This is a side business for them. Kelly is a social worker with Iowa Specialty Hospital and has been there for 3 years while Dana works in the wood room at Sports Graphics and has been there for 33 years.

So, what will you find at their booth? Homemade jams, jellies, and freshly baked kringla!

The inspiration behind the business goes back to Kelly’s grandmother. Grandma was always baking and sending the family home with goodies—including a jar of her homemade grape jelly. Years later, when a dear friend, Beth, asked Kelly and Dana if they would be interested in taking over her business, those memories of Grandma came flooding back.

And the rest is history!

One of their fan favorites is the Raspberry Jalapeño and their pepper jelly. Kelly’s personal favorite is peach, made with peaches sourced from some of the best farms in Missouri, while Dana’s favorite is—you guessed it—the Raspberry Jalapeño!

What makes Rosehill Farms special is their commitment to homemade quality. Their jams and jellies are made from scratch, and their kringla is baked fresh before every event. And because they want you to know exactly what you're getting, they offer plenty of samples for shoppers to try. They believe you should be satisfied with your purchase from the very first taste!

Market shoppers can look forward to new flavors at their booth, along with plenty of samples to enjoy. So come hungry and be ready to discover a new favorite!

You can find Rosehill Farms on Facebook at Rosehill Farms Clarion, Iowa.

🌿 And now for the fun fact...

Despite the name, they don't actually have a farm!

When Kelly and Dana purchased the business from their friend, she owned a farm where she grew all kinds of fruit. When she retired, she sold the farm and moved closer to family—but the name Rosehill Farms lived on!

We can't wait to have Rosehill Farms at the Y'allternative Market on Main. Be sure to stop by their booth, sample some of their homemade goodies, and take home a jar (or two!) of something delicious!
