The Rolling Pin: Sweet Memories, Made Fresh

Some of the best things in life begin in a kitchen.

We’re so excited to welcome The Rolling Pin back to the Y’allternative Market on Main!

If you were at our first market, you may remember The Rolling Pin. If you were lucky enough to get one of her treats, you probably remember her for another reason, too! She was super popular with shoppers, and we’re thrilled that she’ll be joining us again this fall.

Here’s a little about The Rolling Pin, in her own words:

Some of the best things in life begin in a kitchen.

For me, that kitchen has been home and since 2012, it has been the heart of The Rolling Pin.

Cakes, cookies, pies, wedding desserts - you name it, and I’ll do my best to create it.

There’s just something about working with my hands and watching something simple become amazing. But the very best part? Seeing someone’s face light up when they see their cake or take that first bite.

Wedding cakes hold a particularly special place in my heart. There is something about a beautiful three-tier wedding cake that still makes me stop and think, "Wow, I made that!"

I also love creating one-of-a-kind birthday cakes... cakes made especially for someone, with their personality, their celebration, and their dreams in mind.

And while the cakes may be the stars of the show, my homemade sugar cookies with buttercream frosting are always crowd favorites, too!

I’m my own worst critic. I want every cake, cookie, pie, and dessert leaving my kitchen to taste as amazing as it looks. I’m passionate about what I do, and my customers mean so much to me.

The late nights, the flour-covered counters, the countless little details... it’s all worth it when I see a smile.

And this year, I’m bringing a few new sweet treats to the table!

Apple Slice Bar: Crisp apples piled high with homemade caramel or hot fudge, then finished with all sorts of delicious toppings.

Italian Almond Cookies

Muffins: Variety of flavors and crumble toppings.

Frosted Sugar Cookies

So whether you're celebrating a wedding, a birthday, a special occasion, or simply craving something made the old-fashioned way, I’d love to make something sweet for you.
