Meet Rachelle Freybler of Nothing but Nature
Some people look at a rock and see a rock.
Rachelle Freybler sees
✨God's glitter. ✨
A Clarion native, artist, plant lover, and free spirit at heart, Rachelle has a way of seeing beauty in the things around her and turning them into something completely her own.
Rachelle studied art at Simpson College, and her artistic side definitely shines through in her business, Nothing but Nature. The name itself comes from her love of plants, but nature doesn't stop there. Rocks, crystals, semi-precious stones, and other unique treasures all find their way into her creations.
Rachelle creates handmade necklaces, bracelets, and earrings, but calling them simply "jewelry" doesn't quite seem to do them justice. Her pieces are little works of art that you can wear.
And I can personally vouch for that.
I have a necklace Rachelle made using amethyst and a piece of a beer bottle that she put through a rock tumbler. Yes, you read that correctly! And somehow, she took those two very different things and turned them into a beautiful, completely unique piece of wearable art.
That's what I love about Rachelle's work. You don't necessarily know what you're going to find until you see it.
Rachelle was one of our vendors at our very first Market on Main in April, and we're so happy to have her back for the Y'allternative Market! She'll be bringing her handmade jewelry and will probably have some of her artwork along as well.
She's fun, kind, creative, and definitely a little bit of a free spirit... which makes Nothing but Nature a pretty perfect name for her business.
So if you're someone who loves plants, rocks, crystals, nature, unusual treasures, or just really cool things that you aren't going to see everywhere else, make sure you stop by and say hello to Rachelle.
You might just find a little piece of God's glitter to take home with you!
| Not this one, though, Shannon already got it! |
