This Venue Is Perfect For The Market

Here's what we've been up to!

Earlier this week, Hayley and Shannon spent time walking through the Dows Community Building to finalize plans for the Dows Market on Main, and we couldn’t be more excited about how everything is coming together.

We took a hands-on approach during our walkthrough. We inventoried available tables so we know exactly what’s on hand for vendors who may need them, mapped out potential layouts, located every electrical outlet, and measured the space to ensure a smooth and comfortable setup for everyone involved. After seeing it all in person, we feel incredibly confident in this venue.

The Dows Community Building is large, clean, bright, and welcoming. It's an ideal space for a handmade and homegrown market. There are plenty of electrical outlets throughout the building, making it easy for vendors who need power. The bathrooms are spacious and well-maintained, and the building features not only a main front entrance, but also a convenient side entrance where vendors can unload if they prefer.

Parking is another big plus. There’s ample parking available right on Main Street, as well as across the street beside Crème de la Crème, and at the Freedom Rock parking lot, making it easy for both vendors and shoppers to come and go.

As if we needed anymore convincing that Dows was the perfect place for this Market, here are a couple fun facts about us; Creme de la Creme is where Hayley was first employed as a sophomore in high school, and you will also find that Shannon has a booth of curated vintage items for sale at the Mercantile.

Beyond vendor booths, we’re also planning designated areas for workshops and relaxed lounging. Our goal is to create more than just a shopping experience. We want the market to feel inviting, creative, and community-centered...a place where people can gather, learn, and linger (while enjoying a cup of Nice Beans Coffee). Don't forget about the food trucks!

If you’re a maker, grower, or small business owner interested in being part of the Dows Market on Main, now is the time to get your vendor registration submitted. READ MORE HERE

Finalizing registrations allows us to thoughtfully plan the layout, power needs, and overall flow of the market to ensure the best possible experience for everyone involved.

If you’ve already received the registration form, we kindly encourage you to complete and return it as soon as you’re able. And if you haven’t yet signed up but feel your business aligns with the handmade and homegrown spirit of the market(Find out more info HERE!), we’d love to hear from you. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!

We can’t wait to fill this beautiful space with creativity, community, and locally made goods...and we hope you’ll be part of it!
