One of our favorite weekends of the summer is almost here!
This Weekend, Dows will once again celebrate one of our longest-standing traditions - Dows Corn Days - and we're excited to share that Dows Market on Main will have a float in the Corn Days Parade! Parade starts at 10AM.
If you're planning to come to town, we hope you'll wave as we roll by and spend the day enjoying everything this small community has to offer.

Corn Days is more than just a parade. It's a celebration of the people, businesses, organizations, and traditions that make Dows such a special place to call home.
Whether you've lived here your whole life or you're visiting for the first time, there's something special about watching a small-town parade, catching candy, visiting with neighbors, and enjoying a summer day together.

We'll be proudly representing Dows Market on Main in this year's parade, and we can't wait to share a little of what makes our handmade market so special.
If you've attended our market before, thank you for supporting local makers and small businesses. If you haven't yet, we'd love for you to stop by and learn more about what we're creating here in Dows.
Our mission has always been simple:

We'll be tossing plenty of smiles (and a few treats!), so keep an eye out for us!
Make a Day of It
After the parade, take some time to explore Dows and enjoy everything Corn Days has to offer.
Visit historical sites, shop at the Dows Mercantile, check out all the bargains at the Dows Community Library book Sale from 1PM-3PM, grab something delicious to eat, reconnect with friends, and enjoy the festivities throughout the day. Small-town celebrations like Corn Days only happen because communities come together to support them, and every visitor helps make the weekend a success.
